We’re thrilled to share that WJI has a new video that documents our work to empower Guatemalan women and girls! Our partners at Filmmaker for a Cause did an amazing job in capturing WJI’s programs and we are officially releasing the video today. Check it out and see how your donation to our end of year Educate2Empower campaign makes an impact:
Thanks to your generous donations, we have now raised over $10,000 in our year end campaign! We are so grateful to you and we still need your help to reach our $25,000 goal! Your contributions are being matched by WJI’s Board of Directors which means you are doubling your impact by donating TODAY!
Your support means that girls will delay child marriage and stay in school. By age 15, 60% of indigenous girls drop out of school and by age 18, 40% of indigenous girls are married. WJI is working to change these statistics and prevent early and forced marriage. Gloria, a 14-year-old participant in WJI’s Adolescent Girls Program, is proving this, “WJI motivated me to go back to school, to keep learning, and to share what I have learned with others.”
Join us as we work to create brighter futures for the next generation! You can support WJI’s Educate2Empower campaign now by providing a tax-deductible donation on our website at https://womens-justice.org/donate/. Let’s work together to empower Guatemalan women and girls to promote gender equality and live free from violence. Thank you!
