On November 5, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a truly special evening, WJI’s 2025 Gala!

This unforgettable celebration marked the midway point of our bold strategic growth plan: A Just Future for Women: Investing in WJI’s Legacy, and provided vital support to sustain and expand our impact for years to come. The room was filled with members of our incredible team, our dedicated board, long-standing partners, and new friends who share our commitment to advancing the rights of women and girls in rural Guatemala and beyond.

We were honored to recognize two extraordinary leaders: Julie H. Jones, Chair of Ropes & Gray LLP, whose visionary leadership inspires WJI’s mission; and Clara Ferraro, WJI Board Chair, who concluded ten remarkable years of service, guiding the organization through a decade of exceptional growth and transformation.

Guests enjoyed the vibrant sounds of Guatemalan Marimba music, a specialty cocktail bar generously provided by Ilegal Mezcal, and delicious chocolates directly from Guatemala.
