This Thanksgiving season, we are thankful for your support!

With your help, over 3,500 women, girls, and men have participated in WJI’s programs this year! Together, we are building a more equitable world for Maya women and girls and breaking the cycle of violence and inequality in rural Guatemala.

Tomorrow, we commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread, persistent, and devastating human rights violations in our world today. Guatemala faces some of the highest levels of violence against women and girls in the world with 1 in 3 women facing physical or sexual violence by an intimate partner. WJI works everyday to support indigenous Maya girls and women to live free from violence.  Join us!
