WJI Partnership with UVA Law- November 2012

Posted on Mar 5, 2015 In WJI Newsletter

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to share with you that WJI was recently featured in an article on the University of Virginia School of Law’s website on our collaboration with UVA Law’s Human Rights Law Clinic.

WJI partners with the University of Virginia School of Law Human Rights Law Clinic to develop trainings for its Community Advocates Program. Last week, WJI held two trainings for its Community Advocates on property and inheritance rights and gender-based violence. Four students from UVA Law’s Human Rights Law Clinic wrote the trainings and traveled to Guatemala last week to observe them.

Our work with the University of Virginia highlights WJI’s efforts to build both local and international partnerships that broaden our impact and allow us to better serve our clients.

Thank you for your continued interest in our work.

Best wishes,

Kate Flatley

Executive Director
